The Honor event in China was fully packed. Not only did it unveil the Honor Magic5 series to the world, but the brand also discussed its progress in the 5G network speed. Nonetheless, with all that, Honor announced the Magic5 Ultimate, which will be a special edition for the local market.

That is, the Honor Magic5 Ultimate is going to be a China-exclusive device. And the phone pushes everything to the max. Basically, you can think of it as a maxed-out version of the Magic5 Pro. Of course, it also comes with the revolutionary C1 RF chip that Honor has just shared benchmark results of.

Honor Magic5 Ultimate Specs

The full-on flagship Honor Magic5 Ultimate features a 6.8-inch on the front. It is an LTPO OLED panel with an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. The panel features a resolution of 1312x2848px, which is basically the same as the Magic5 Pro.

Under the hood, the Magic5 Ultimate will come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Honor paired that SoC with 16GB of RAM, making the phone highly capable of handling multitasking workloads. And the phone comes with a 5450mAh battery that can charge at 66W.

Other than that, there are two cameras on the front. One is a depth sensor, while the other is a 16MP wide-angle lens. And on the back, the Magic5 Ultimate has a 50MP primary camera with a custom 1/1.12-inch sensor. Honor paired that up with a 90mm 3.5x periscope camera and a 13mm ultrawide sensor with macro and autofocus abilities.

When it comes to the design, the Magic5 Ultimate comes in Burning Orange and Elegant Black colorways. Both of them feature a vegan leather trim. And inside the box, you will get a premium Montblanc Bespoke leather case. You can order the phone in China right now. It goes for CNY6699 (USD 970) and will start shipping on March 20.
