Vivo Y36 Launched With Great Mid-Range Specs At $226

Vivo has just introduced a brand-new smartphone. Named the Vivo Y36, the new phone is the direct successor to the Vivo Y35, which debuted in August last year. But the most interesting fact about the device is that it comes in two flavors.

That is, you can get the Vivo Y36 in both 4G and 5G versions. However, as of now, only the 4G version has been officially released. The 5G version is expected to launch soon. But what makes the two versions different?

Closer Look at the Vivo Y36 4G and 5G

As per the official Indonesian page listing, the Vivo Y36 4G comes with Snapdragon 680. On the other hand, the 5G version is expected to feature Dimensity 6200. And that’s pretty much the only difference between the device’s 4G and 5G versions. The rest of the specs are basically the same.

So, both Vivo Y36 phones come with a 6.64-inch “Ultra O” LCD screen. The panel has a 1080×2388 resolution and runs at a 90Hz refresh rate. Considering the fact that the devices are within the mid-range price category, these specs are really good.
