Just a few days ago, Carl Pei, the CEO of Nothing, announced the launch of Nothing’s sub-brand. Named CMF by Nothing, the brand aims to offer affordable products with “timeless designs.” In the announcement video, Carl mentioned that the sub-brand would be launching two products soon.
Well, now, it seems that the very first products from CMF by Nothing are over the horizon. The brand recently registered a pair of earbuds and a smartwatch with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). This registration indicates that the two products from the sub-brand will soon be available in India.

It shouldn’t be surprising that CMF by Nothing has registered its first devices in India. After all, Nothing has had a strong brand presence in the market ever since its first product. But the fact that the sub-brand will bring a smartwatch is interesting. Why? Nothing doesn’t have a smartwatch in its own lineup.

That said, there’s not much information about the watch. It may come with Wear OS or Nothing’s customized platform. But as the device has just passed the Bureau of Indian Standards certification, more information should come out soon. However, we do know the original manufacturer of CMF by Nothing’s smartwatch.
According to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website, the same manufacturer has built many products for different brands. That includes HMDX, JVC, EMTEC, and Blackweb. However, the website didn’t give us any concrete information about smartwatch models from the manufacturer.
Regarding the earbuds, the manufacturer of previously built headsets for Cambridge Soundworks and Monster. These are two of the prominent brands in the audio industry. So, the upcoming earbuds from CMF by Nothing should be very interesting. And hopefully, the smartwatch won’t disappoint either.
