Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its Galaxy S24 series in January 2024. Recently, the Geekbench benchmark tool revealed the performance and key specs of the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 global version. An existing model with model number SM-S921B has appeared on Geekbench. Based on previous information, it appears that it is the Samsung Galaxy S24 global or European version.

The device in question, the SM-S921B, is believed to be the Galaxy S24. According to the Geekbench listing, this device comes with the new Exynos 2400 SoC, which was recently released by Samsung. Performance

The Geekbench 6 results show a device that’s capable of a single-core score of 2011 and a multi-core score of 6086. These scores are a healthy increase on the Samsung Galaxy S23, which currently sits at an average of 1,881 and 4,985 for single and multi-core, respectively. However, it falls notably short of the iPhone 15, which scored 2559 single-core and 6375 multi-core.

Samsung Galaxy S24

In terms of performance, we expect the Samsung Galaxy S24 to be a powerhouse device. Looking at the scores above, this mobile phone’s performance is pretty decent. Since this device has not been released, the benchmark result is from a prototype device. However, benchmarking performance numbers for a prototype or pre-release handset are weaker. Thus, the final release should come with better performance than we see above.

Samsung is diversifying its chipsets once more, with the Exynos 2400 platform set to power some of the Galaxy S24 flagships. The Exynos models, as usual, will be sold in Europe, Africa, and other markets. The Snapdragon model will be sold in the U.S., China, and others. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S24 is expected to be a powerful smartphone with promising performance.

Final Words

The Samsung Galaxy S24 global version appears to be a powerful smartphone. It comes with the new Exynos 2400 chipset and 8GB of RAM. In terms of performance, the Galaxy S24 score is better than its predecessor, the Galaxy S23. However, it falls short of the iPhone 15 in terms of raw SoC performance. The device should launch in January or February 2024. Samsung is also planning on holding the Galaxy Unpacked event around that time in San Francisco, US.
