The OnePlus 12R is pretty much around the corner. As per the past announcements, the device will make its official debut on January 23, which is just about three weeks away.

OnePlus 12R To Equip LTPO 4.0 and 5500 mAh Battery

OnePlus has previously teased how good the display of the 12R is going to be. With the latest teaser, the brand has fortified the phone’s position to deliver a smooth visual experience. Basically, the phone is confirmed to come with an LTPO 4.0 display.

This display of the OnePlus 12R can operate in a wide range of refresh rates, including 72 Hz and 90 Hz. Through this varying and adaptive refresh rate, the device can set itself to one that’s best for what you’re doing. This will not only save the battery life but also make you get a fluid viewing experience.

On the note of the battery, OnePlus has confirmed that 12R will come with a 5500 mAh cell. This is the biggest battery OnePlus has put into its phone. It’s even larger than the latest flagship OnePlus 12, which has a 5400 mAh battery. If OnePlus does things right, this 12% increased battery capacity should result in higher overall runtime as well.

For those who missed it, OnePlus previously confirmed that the OnePlus 12R will come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a well-capable camera setup. Combined with the LTPO 4.0 display, the device seems to be pretty much geared to offer a flagship-grade performance. We will keep you updated when OnePlus offers more information on the device.
