OnePlus Buds 3 Wireless Earbuds Debut With Enhanced ANC and Audio Capabilities

OnePlus Buds 3 launch

OnePlus has held a big launch event in China today. This event brought the OnePlus Ace 3 out of its covers, and with the phone, the OnePlus Buds 3 has also made its official debut.

At the core, the new earbuds are a direct successor to the OnePlus Buds 2, which was a great purchase for how much value they brought to the table. OnePlus kept the good things about the earbuds but brought some key improvements to the table.

Main Highlights of the OnePlus Buds 3

The OnePlus Buds 3 earbuds feature a similar design as the Buds 2, which basically makes them capable of offering a comfortable listening experience. The predecessors were well-known for their ergonomic design. But it’s not just the comfort-forward design that makes the new earbuds a good pick.

Driver Setup and ANC

They also come with a robust driver setup. To be precise, OnePlus Buds 3 has a dual-driver solution that we saw in the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. With this, the new buds become capable of delivering rich and detail-filled audio. In addition, the wireless earbuds bring top-notch Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) tech.

The good part is that the ANC of the Buds 3 is adjustable. You can get it from 10 dB to 20 dB to 49 dB. The buds also come with an intelligent mode that can automatically recognize the environment and tune the ANC accordingly. So, you’re pretty much set to get an immersive listening experience regardless of where you’re.

Other Highlights of OnePlus Buds 3

On that note, OnePlus says that the Buds 3 comes with AI enhancements for handling phone calls. This makes the wireless earbuds capable of offering a great calling experience. The buds are also easy to control thanks to their touch-sensitive region on the outer side of the stem.

Gaming latency

Regarding battery life, the OnePlus Buds 3 can offer up to 44 hours of runtime without the ANC turned on. Other highlights include Wireless Hi-Res Audio certification, LHDC support, and IP55 rating. They are currently available for pre-orders in China with a price tag of CNY500, which is around $63.
