Honor recently introduced the Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design edition featuring unique design elements brought by Porsche Design. The device brought Porsche Design’s vision to the smartphone world featuring the same aesthetics and curves seen on Porsche Car. The RSR Porsche Design arrived in China recently. It is now heading to the global markets. The RSR Variant will launch with the Honor Magic6 series during the Mobile World Congress. Ahead of the event, Honor confirmed that it will launch another flagship smartphone co-created with Porsche Design.

The big news was revealed in a joint interview with HONOR’s Chief Designer, Yuan, and Carsten Monnerjan, the Head of Design at Porsche Lifestyle Group. The interview was published in Wallpaper* magazine recognized as the global design authority. In the interview about the new collaboration, which focuses on fusing cutting-edge technology with functional design, both designers share their insights into the creative philosophy of bringing new premium products to the luxury segment of smart devices. Furthermore, the interview includes details of the overall development approach adopted in jointly shaping new products in this collaboration.

The new flagship featuring Porsche Design will follow the company’s philosophy in all of its aspects. These include iconic design elements, colors, materials, technologies, and production principles. All these factors will be influenced by the automotive industry. Honor is yet to confirm exactly which device will get the Porsche Design, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see a new Honor Magic6 flagship with an RSR Porsche Design Edition. The Magic6 series launched in China months ago and will reach global markets at the Mobile World Congress. In addition to the new product, Honor will also share design sketches of the Porsche Design Honor Magic V2 RSR for the first time.
