ASUS has just confirmed details about the launch of its next flagship.  After numerous leaks and teasers, the official launch date for the ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra has been announced. The new flagship will arrive at 8 PM Taipei time (1 PM CET / 8 AM ET). It also shows the New York and Berlin times which implies the phone will launch in Taiwan, the US, and Europe simultaneously.

The accompanying post on X.com is also teasing deep AI integration. However, the company didn’t go into specifics of what that means. The company did provide a few teaser videos for the Zenfone 11 Ultra to showcase its video stabilization feature, portrait mode, and long-lasting battery. Thanks to a detailed leak, we know what to expect from the new flagship. It looks like a tweaked version of the ROG Phone 8 Pro. It will feature a similar design but will miss the gamer-centric features. So no fancy RGB lights or capacitive AirTriggers, just a conventional flagship smartphone.

ASUS ZenFone 11 Ultra Specifications

The ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra will come with a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution. It will have a 1-144 Hz refresh rate for better efficiency. Under the hood, the flagship will carry the excellent Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB UFS 4.0 storage. The phone will also bring the same trio of cameras found on the ASUS ROG Phone 8 Pro. The phone has a centered-punch hole for the selfie camera and a squarish camera island for the rear camera arrangement. The camera module protrudes a lot from the device’s back, so it may be a good idea to use a case if you don’t like this kind of design. The phone’s back comes with some stripes aligned across the back.

The Zenfone 11 Ultra will offer a huge 5,500 mAh battery with 65W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Interestingly, users will find a 3.5mm headphone jack which is a rarity for flagship phones. The Zenfone 11 Ultra will sell in Eternal Black, Skyline Blue, Misty Gray, Verdure Green, and Desert Sienna colors.
