Oppo K12 Passes 60 KG Bending Test: Company Shows You Can Step On The Phone

Oppo is all set to release its new mid-range smartphone in China. Ahead of the launch, Oppo is creating hype for its upcoming smartphone by revealing its key highlights. This time they have focused on something that many smartphone manufacturers ignore: durability. While many companies emphasize performance and camera quality, durability often gets overlooked. Well, Oppo decided to break the stereotype and reveal the high durability of the Oppo K12.

In a demonstration video posted by the official page of Oppo China on Weibo, the company posted a bending test. In this video, the Oppo K12 was compared to another phone in a bending test. The pressure was applied from 0 KG to 60 KG, and the result was rather shocking. At the end of the bending test, the other smartphone was completely destroyed; its display was dead and was completely unusable. However, the Oppo K12 shined the test and was still usable even after being under pressure with a force of 60 KG.

If you think this was too much for the smartphone, Oppo also showed a person standing on the phone. Moreover, upon further investigation, I stumbled upon a hashtag on Weibo that translates to “If you want to stand, then stand.” Different users posted on this hashtag where they were standing on the Oppo K12 and showing the results. However, we still do not recommend that you stand on your phone.
