In addition, Realme has confirmed that the GT 6T’s screen will have a peak brightness rating of 6000 nits. While that’s impressive, you need to understand that peak brightness rating is actually pointless. Companies generally measure it from a very small area of a display. What’s more important is that this rating is taken while playing HDR content. So, this isn’t the brightness level you will see the screen getting to during regular use.

But yes, the fact that we’re seeing a 120 Hz AMOLED screen in a mid-range device is a good thing. Realme has also previously confirmed that the GT 6T will come with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. This would mean better protection from scratches and shatters.

Worth noting that the teaser images of GT 6T that the company has shared hint that it’s a rebrand of GT Neo6 SE. That phone didn’t make it outside China, so the brand may just be introducing it with a different name outside the Chinese market.
