Samsung began 2025 on a strong note. The South Korean company has set a new record in the first quarter of 2025, all thanks to strong sales of the Galaxy S25 Series. To add to this, the company hinted about what is next to expect during its earnings call. It sounds like the company is about to introduce big changes in upcoming tablets, earbuds, foldable and Galaxy Watches.
Foldables Are Getting Better and Cheaper
Samsung confirmed that new foldables are coming this year. These are likely the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. The company says it is improving performance, design, and durability, and adding smarter AI features.
What’s even more exciting is that Samsung plans to make foldables more affordable. This supports rumors about a budget-friendly Galaxy Z Flip FE (or possibly called Flip Xe).
Samsung said:
“We’re enhancing the performance, design, and durability of our new foldables while also optimizing AI. We want to grow our product lineup and reach more people with lower-priced options.”
There are also rumors that Samsung might show off a tri-fold phone later this year, although it may not launch right away.
Galaxy Watch May Get a New Look
Samsung hinted at a new design for its Galaxy Watch. While the company didn’t give much detail, it did say a new watch is on the way with “an innovative design” and better health features. This could mean a full redesign or just new software. We’ll have to wait and see.
“We’re working on a new Galaxy Watch with a fresh design and upgraded health tools. We’re also expanding our wearable lineup for all budgets.”
New Earbuds and Tablets Are Coming Too
Samsung also mentioned a new entry-level pair of earbuds. This could be a follow-up to the Galaxy Buds FE.
As for tablets, Samsung confirmed that the Galaxy Tab S11 series will launch in the second half of 2025. Like last year, it may arrive after the July foldables event.
“We’ll launch the AI-powered Tab S11 later this year and focus on reaching more users with targeted marketing.”
In short, Samsung is planning a busy year — with exciting updates across its entire Galaxy lineup.
