The Global Sources Electronics Exhibition set off in HongKong already yesterday at AsiaWorld-Expo and majority of the mobile world is of course attending. The OUKITEL brand is of course among them and this time they came armed with 20 smartphone models to showcase. And full 3 models belong to the big battery popular “K” series so let’s take a closer look at each of them.
The first one is the latest announced giant display smartphone OUKITEL K9. As a smartphone invented for games and videos, the K9 features a super big display-7.12 inch FHD+ display with waterdrop notch design. It carries the latest MT6765 (Helio P35) 12nm processed octa-core chipset, 6000mAh battery capable of supporting 2-3 days of heavy usage and way more. For cameras it gets an 8MP GC8034 front-facing camera and Sony IMX298 16MP rear camera with PDAF fast focus support and various scene shoot. In addition, the K9 supports 21 networks bands for working in all countries over the world.
The second king battery smartphone is OUKITEL K12 which is to be released in May. K12 is an upgraded flagship model for the K10, but with latest waterdrop design and latest processor. It will feature a larger 6.3 inch FHD+ display and leather back cover. Same as the previous generations, the K12 will come with 10.000mAh massive battery. But due to the 12nm processed MT6765 octa-core chipset, the actual endurance time will be longer than previous generations. What’s more, with the new 5V/6A quick charger, the 10.000mAh battery can be fully charged within 2 hours. It will also get 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM for storage and 16MP with 8MP cameras.

Another one to the lineup will be the OUKITEL K13. K13 is another new designed punch-hole display smartphone with 10.000mAh big battery. The 6.4 inch FHD+ punch-hole display enables larger display are to be used than waterdrop smartphones. Unlike K12, K13 will be powered by MediaTek MT6762 octa-core processor and will get 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM for storage. With different processor, the actual using time of the K13 10.000mAh battery will be different from previous generations. But this of course remains to be seen with proper testing. However, the K13 will get the new 5V/6A quick charger too so the charging is going to be breeze.
There are of course many more OUKITEL models showcased at the Global Sources Expo, but these three certainly garnered the most attention from the visiors. And if you visit their official website you can also participate in some subscription and giveaway activity so check it out.
They don’t understand the real problem: the dimensions. Shape the dimensions of the devices and people will buy it. Even 2mm less and 25grams less will make a noticeable difference.
I would consider buying one of those but don’t want to carry a brick in my pocket.
