This morning, Huami Technology founder and CEO Huang Wang said on Weibo that Huangshan No.1 chip has been mass-produced, and the new product will be displayed on June 11.
The Huami AI chip, namely Huangshan No. 1 was released in the second half of last year. According to the official introduction, the modular chip Huangshan No. uses RISC-V architecture and can run data in the device to avoid the communication delay of cloud computing. The AlwaysOn module used by Huangshan No. 1 can automatically transfer sensor data to SRAM, and through the neural network system, it can separately integrate the operation results in time. So the power consumption can be greatly reduced. The smart device can have a longer standby time, a faster processing speed, and a longer service life.

At last, Huami Technology will hold a 2019 new product launch conference on June 11. At the event, it’s expected to see new smart wearables. Especially, it’s been announced a new AMAZFIT line smartwatch will be uncovered. It’s said to use ceramic materials, to support ECG, and more. Huami Technology mentioned that ECG monitoring is a life-saving function, but it is not enough to rely on it to save lives. If there are no accidents, AMAZFIT new products will add new technologies or functions to health monitoring.

The vice president of Huami Technology, Qi Fandi, also officially confirmed that the new AMAZFIT product will support eSIM full Netcom function. So the price of the new product is likely to be not less than 2,000 yuan ($289).
