Samsung Galaxy M14 5G Launched – Loaded With Features!

Samsung Galaxy M14 5G

Samsung has quietly launched the Galaxy M14 5G in Ukraine. At the core, it is an affordable smartphone that aims to deliver the most to budget-conscious consumers. And although it is now currently available only in Ukraine, Samsung will soon debut it in more countries over the next few months.

Now, if you take a closer look at the phone, it looks pretty similar to the Galaxy A14 5G, which launched at the beginning of this year. But that does not mean Samsung has rebranded the phone and debuted it as the Galaxy M14 5G. Instead, the South Korean giant has made some modifications.

Core Specs of the Galaxy M14 5G

When it comes to the overall design, the Galaxy M14 5G looks pretty similar to the A14 5G. But that is not a bad thing. The A14 already has a similar outlook as the flagship Galaxy S23 series.

Nonetheless, the front of the M14 5G comes with a 6.6-inch LCD display with an Infinity-V notch. The screen is FHD+ and boasts a 90Hz refresh rate. And on the notch, you have a 13MP sensor that will take care of all your video calling and selfie needs.

Galaxy M14 5G cameras

There is a triple camera setup on the back of the Galaxy M14 5G. Samsung has opted for a 50MP primary camera, 2MP macro sensor, and 2MP depth sensor for the device. The great thing about the primary sensor is that, other than taking decent pictures, it can shoot FHD videos at 30 fps.

Under the hood, you will find an Exynos 1330. It is an octa-core SoC that is clocked at 2.4GHz. And Samsung paired it up with 4GB of RAM. In other words, the Galaxy M14 5G will easily handle all your day-to-day apps.

Galaxy M14 5G Chip

A 6000mAh battery powers the Galaxy M14 5G, which can charge at 25W. And you can also expand the storage to up to 1TB with the microSD card slot. Besides all these, the phone has support for dual SIM, WiFi 802.11ac, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, and charges via a USB-C port.

To keep things simple, the M14 5G features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It doubles as a power button. And Samsung has also kept the 3.5mm headphone jack on the phone. Lastly, it comes with OneUI based on Android 13.

Price

The Samsung Galaxy M14 5G comes in two different options. That is, it is available in two storage options. Depending on how much internal storage you want, you can choose the 64GB or the 128GB version. They are each priced at UAH 8,299 (~$225) and UAH 8,999 (~$244), respectively.

Galaxy M14 Colors

In terms of color options, you have the option to choose one from Blue, Dark Blue, and Silver. All these colors make the Samsung Galaxy M14 5G stand out from the rest of the entry-level phones in the market.

Galaxy A14 5G vs Galaxy M14 5G

So, the obvious question in your head might be, what is the difference between the M14 5G and A14 5G? Well, the phones are pretty similar in terms of most features. Not to mention that they come with the same design as well. Also, the chipset is the same on both phones.

Samsung Galaxy A14 5G

However, the Galaxy M14 5G stands out in terms of battery and charging speed. The Galaxy A14 5G comes with a 5000mAH battery that can charge at 15W. That is a decent battery and charging rating for an entry-level phone. But the M14 5G pushes the limit and offers a 6000mAh battery with a charging rating of 25W.

That means you will be able to get more screen-on-time on the Galaxy M14 5G. And needless to say, there will be no need to wait that long when the battery eventually runs out of juice.
