Nothing is gearing up to launch its first true flagship smartphone, the Phone (3), on the 1st of July. Despite the fact that the release date is still a few weeks away, the company has been releasing some teasers on the phone with close-up shots of specific parts. Recently, tech leakster Max Jambor shared a wider image of the phone, showing the full design, but it left fans with some new questions.

A Surprisingly Compact Camera Island

One of the first things noticed in the leaked image is the size of the camera island. The camera area on the Phone (3) is noticeably smaller when compared the previous model, the Phone (3a) Pro. It’s possible that the angle of the photo plays a role, but the camera bump definitely seems less bulky. Due to the alleged camera changes, some users might wonder if the camera hardware or features have been scaled back. It might also mean that users should expect a cleaner, more polished look for the Phone (3).

What Happened to the Glyph Interface?

Another visible change is the absence of the Glyph Interface. In previous versions, Nothing phones had LED lights on the back that lit up for notifications, and there was also a unique visual touch. However, it appears Nothing is doing away with the classic Glyph LED setup on the Phone (3).

Word on the street is that the company might be replacing the scattered LEDs with a more advanced dot-matrix display. This style of display which is similar to what Asus uses on its ROG Phones, could offer better visual feedback. The big question is: where’s the new display on the Phone (3)?

It’s not clearly visible in the leaked image, so it could be tucked under a translucent panel or designed to blend in more subtly. We’ll have to wait for the official reveal to know for sure.

Pricing and Other Products

arl Pei, Nothing’s founder and CEO, has shared some hints about the Phone (3)’s price. It’s expected to cost roughly £800, which is about $1,080, €945, or ₹93,000 depending on the region. This pricing positions the Phone (3) firmly in the premium smartphone category.

Alongside the Phone (3), Nothing is also preparing to launch its first pair of over-ear headphones. Like the phone, these new headphones are expected to be on the pricier side.

What’s Next for Nothing?

With the official launch just around the corner, there’s still a lot to learn about the Phone (3). The leaked image gives us an interesting first look, but there’s still a lot we don’t know, especially about the updated Glyph feature and the camera design. Enthusiasts and supporters worldwide will be monitoring developments meticulously on July 1 to determine precisely what innovations Nothing intends to introduce with its inaugural flagship.
