HONOR has
officially redefined the limits of mobile endurance and gaming performance with the launch of the
HONOR WIN and
HONOR WIN RT in China. Representing a significant shift in HONOR’s hardware strategy, these devices replace the previous GT series and debut with a world-first 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery in a mainstream flagship-tier smartphone.
Built as professional-grade e-sports machines, both models integrate a physical active cooling fan and ultra-high refresh rate displays designed to handle the thermal demands of next-gen mobile gaming.
Key Points:
- Features a massive 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, the largest ever in a flagship gaming phone.
- Boasts a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display with a class-leading 185Hz refresh rate and 5920Hz PWM dimming.
- Powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (WIN) and Snapdragon 8 Elite (WIN RT) chipsets.
- Integrated active cooling fan system with a 25,000 RPM "Rage Mode" for sustained performance.
- Industry-leading durability with IP68, IP69, and IP69K water and dust resistance.
Performance and Thermal Engineering
The HONOR WIN series introduces the most advanced mobile silicon available in late 2025. The standard HONOR WIN is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, featuring a 3nm architecture and a peak clock speed of 4.6GHz. The WIN RT utilizes the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which remains one of the most capable processors for sustained high-load gaming.
To prevent thermal throttling, HONOR has implemented the Dongfeng Turbo Cooling system. This setup includes:
- Active Cooling Fan: A dual 360° surround fan capable of reaching 25,000 RPM in "Rage Mode."
- Internal Airflow: Industry-first direct-drive cooling that routes air directly over the chipset area.
- Temperature Management: Claims of a 7°C reduction in core temperature during intensive sessions.
Display and Visual Technology
The front of the device is dominated by a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED panel. Prioritizing competitive play, HONOR has pushed the refresh rate to 185Hz, currently the highest in its class. For eye health during long sessions, the display features a record-breaking 5920Hz PWM dimming frequency, which eliminates flicker even at low brightness levels.
Unprecedented Battery Capacity
The standout feature is the 10,000mAh "Qinghai Lake" battery. By using third-generation silicon-carbon technology, HONOR has achieved this capacity without making the device excessively bulky (measuring just 8.3mm in thickness).
- Wired Charging: 100W for the WIN RT and 80W for the standard WIN.
- Wireless/Reverse: Supports up to 80W wireless charging on the standard WIN and 27W reverse wired charging to power other peripherals.
Camera and Protection
Despite the gaming focus, the camera systems are flagship-level. Both phones share a
50MP main sensor and a
12MP ultra-wide. The
HONOR WIN adds a
50MP 3x telephoto lens for versatile photography. The series is also built for extreme durability, featuring a rare triple-protection rating of
IP68, IP69, and IP69K, making it resistant to high-pressure hot water jets and total submersion.
