The Huawei Honor 7 has been quite a hit, not only in its home country of China but also in almost every market it saw a launch.
If you're an owner of this interesting phone, here's some good
news for you: the device will soon receive its first Android 6.0 Marshmallow build!
However, expect the ROM to have a few unpolished corners here and there. It'll be a public beta, and is expected to be out in about four weeks from now,
reports Android Central.
The Honor 7 comes with a 5.2-inch screen in a market that's nothing short of flooded with 5.5-inch and larger screen
phones. Perhaps that is something that has contributed to the success of the device; there are way too few phones doing that.
I briefly managed to spend some time with the phone a couple of weeks back, and quite liked how well it fit in the hands. It sure doesn't look like a premium phone from a distance, but certainly is worth the money its being offered for.
