Huawei Router H6 Supporting WiFi 6+ Officially Released

Along many large-screen products, today, Huawei also released a whole-house Wi-Fi 6+ router, namely the Huawei Router H6. It uses an innovative child-mother routing form to easily cover various types of houses such as villas, duplexes, and large flats. It is very simple to install and deploy.

This router is the first whole-house Wi-Fi product running Harmony OS. Each parent router can connect up to 6 child routers. Among them, the mother route adopts rectangular parallelepiped shape and has no external antenna. It has 6 Gigabit Ethernet ports, one Gigabit WAN port, and one Gigabit IPTV port.

The sub-router adopts a standard 86-type panel design. It supports plug-and-play, PoE power supply mode, etc. The sub-router comes with multiple high-performance external PAs and has stronger coverage capabilities. It is the first home microsecond smart positioning antenna to make good signals ‘visible everywhere.’

In terms of performance, Huawei's H6 mother router sports a quad-core 1.4GHz CPU, a 256MB RAM and a 256MB ROM. The Huawei H6 sub-router comes with a dual-core 1.2GHz CPU, equipped a 128MB RAM and a 128MB ROM. The sub-router is divided into standard version and Pro version. It features a 2.4GHz bandwidth 574Mbps, a 5GHz bandwidth 2402Mbps, built-in 2 omnidirectional antennas and 2 smart antennas, and supports dual-frequency 2×2MIMO.

The Huawei router H6 sub-router supports Huawei Wi-Fi 6+ 3000 Mbps, 160 MHz wide bandwidth, doubling the Internet speed. It can download a 10Gb HD movie in 10 seconds. The dynamic narrow bandwidth technology based on chip-level collaboration solves the pain points of long-distance smartphone false signals and achieves the effect of passing through one more wall.

The Huawei Router H6 also has a distributed intelligent acceleration function. Through intelligent identification of 140+ online games and 40+ online courses, it can perform a real-time business priority scheduling. End-to-end latency is reduced by 20%.

Parents can also use the Huawei Smart Life app to limit the online time/video/social/gaming/payment management of children's devices, intercept bad website information, and help children surf the Internet healthily.

In terms of price, the standard version of the sub-router is 399 yuan ($62), the Pro version of the sub-router is 499 yuan ($77), and the 1 item and 3 sub-package version is 1999 yuan ($311). It will go on sale on May 19.
