$50 JiaYu F1 reportedly in the works!

After showing many manufacturers how its done, JiaYu are allegedly set to unveil the all new, uber low-cost JiaYu F1 in the coming weeks!

According to reports, the Chinese manufacturer will be giving a go-ahead to their first smartphone from the F series, the JiaYu F1. Purported specifications of this upcoming device include a dual core processor (MT6572) clocked 1.3GHz, 512MB of RAM (you can already imagine how much it's going to cost!), 4GB ROM, and a 1.3 mega-pixel/5 mega-pixel camera duo, all underneath a 4-inch screen with a 960 x 540p (qHD) resolution.

No word on pricing yet, but rumours are rife that the phone will cost as low as ￥299 ($50) in China. This is quite digestible after the company launched the JiaYu G2F for the equivalent of about $80 in the country.
