OnePlus seem to have adopted a rather different (from their usual standard) design approach with the upcoming
OnePlus 3. As some GizChina readers commented on the previous leaks, the design -- especially the antennae lines -- are very HTC-ish.
Fresh new photos of the phone have surfaced online, featuring the exact same design as the previous leaks. This includes a home button, which will most likely be capacitive (akin to the OnePlus 2).

OnePlus 3 Leaked Photos
In all earnest, it is a bit disappointing to see Chinese phone makers dish out designs that are far from new.
That said, OnePlus
phones can be a bit deceptive in their leak stages. Both, the OnePlus One and the OnePlus 2 hardly had any fans for their design when they got leaked, but both phones gradually (
exponentially?) grew on users, current and potential.
Coming back to the leaked images, they confirm the presence of the hardware profile switch that appears on both, the OnePlus 2 and the OnePlus X. Also seen is a USB Type-C port, chin speaker holes, and (phew!) a 3.5mm headphone jack.
As for the specs, it's no surprise that the OnePlus 3 will be a
Snapdragon 820 phone. More info here.
