One of
Motorola's most successful
phones of late, the Motorola
Moto G might just get a more robust sibling in the near future.
@evleaks suggests Motorola is prepping the launch of this rugged smartphone, the Moto G Forte in the coming weeks. No word on certification yet, but IP67 is what seems to be trending in the smartphone market, as you'd be aware. @evleaks also claims the device will be launched only in Latin American markets in the first leg, with other markets to follow.
Specifications are expected to remain the same, with the device said to carry a 4.5-inch 720p screen, a quad-core Snapdragon CPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB/16GB of on-board storage, 5 mega-pixel rear camera, 1.3 mega-pixel front camera complete with a 2050mAh battery. No word on pricing as yet, you can expect the device to cost 10-15% extra over the usual pricing in your country, if it does get launched.
