HTC's first foray into the
phablet market, the recently released
HTC One Max, has been spotted in promotional materials put out by
Taiwan mobile
carrier Far EasTone showing off a spiffy
new red paint job. While the
new look for the high-powered
phablet has yet to be confirmed my
HTC itself, the redesign if it is legit, comes as no surprise as previous devices from HTC were released in alternative colors sometime after their initial launch.
The
HTC One Max was released last month and sports a Snapdragon 600 CPU, 2GBs of
RAM, a 5.9 inch Full HD Screen and BoomSound dual stereo speakers. It is highly likely that if and when this red version of the
HTC One Max is released its
specs will remain unchanged. What remains to be seen is if the red
HTC One Max will come in the variant with 16GB of internal storage, the
32GB version or both.
Also unknown is what territories, other than Taiwan, that this new version of the HTC One Max will be released in. The same promotional flyer also showed the HTC Desire 601, the HTC Desire Q and the HTC Butterfly all sporting the same red look. We will keep you informed if and when more information becomes available, in the meantime, what do you think of the new look HTC One Max?
