What will happen to urban travel in the next 10 years? The first thing you think of is probably autonomous driving. Maybe soon, we will be able to use our smartphone to book an autonomous driving tool, from route setting to vehicle driving. They can take us to our destination automatically without any operation. At CES 2020, Mavericks Electric introduced such a new option: a self-driving three-wheeled electric motorcycle. This is also the world's first self-driving three-wheeled electric motorcycle, which Maverick Electric named TQi.

Specifically, it can not only control vehicle braking and steering with ADAS and ADA adaptive cruise control but also is equipped with a pre-collision system and an automatic parking system. It can realize 360-degree monitoring through cameras, sensors, and radar.

For tricycles, the front wheels are naturally very important. Therefore, the TQi also comes with a dual front wheel self-balancing system. It uses a new balance controller, which can sense the inclination of the car body in real-time. So it controls the front wheel balance bar telescopic, active anti-dumping and active return to keep the car body always stable.

TQi Safety

The TQi also has SRS airbags, ABS anti-lock braking system, TC traction control and other functions on the driver assistance system.
As for appearance, the TQi continues the previous design style of Mavericks Electric. Thus, it uses a penetrating semi-enclosed body and an integrated ceiling design. The rear passenger seat is wrapped, which is more comfortable than previous three-wheeled motorcycles.
The TQi uses dual electric drives, with a maximum speed of 80km/h and a range of 200km. It supports smart chargers and smart charging piles.
