OnePlus just had a massive day. Alongside the new OnePlus 15R, they dropped a surprise budget wearable: the OnePlus Watch Lite. If you want solid tech without spending flagship money, this one is for you.
It is officially launching in Europe and the UK first, and the specs are actually kind of wild for a "Lite" model.

Key points

  • The OnePlus Watch Lite launched on December 17 as a budget-friendly alternative to the Watch 3.
  • It features a 1.46-inch AMOLED display with an incredible 3000 nits peak brightness and sapphire glass.
  • The watch offers up to 10 days of battery life thanks to its efficient OxygenOS Watch 7.1 software.
  • Unique dual-phone pairing allows it to connect to two devices (Android or iOS) simultaneously.
  • Priced at 159 Euros/Pounds, it includes health tracking for heart rate, SpO2, and skin temperature.

That Screen is Bright—Like, Really Bright

The standout feature? The display. It’s a 1.46-inch circular AMOLED screen. But get this: it hits 3000 nits of peak brightness in sports mode. That is brighter than many high-end phones. You will have zero trouble reading your stats under direct sunlight.
The watch looks premium, too. It’s got a 316L stainless steel frame and sapphire crystal glass to protect against scratches. Even with those materials, it is only 8.9mm thick and weighs about 59 grams with the strap. Not bad at all.

Battery Life and Smarts

OnePlus isn’t using Google’s Wear OS here. Instead, it runs on OxygenOS Watch 7.1. Because the software is lighter, the battery lasts way longer—up to 10 days on a single charge.
Here is a cool trick: it supports dual-phone pairing. You can sync it with two phones at once, even if one is an Android and the other is an iPhone.
What else does it track?
  • Heart rate and blood oxygen (SpO2)
  • Skin temperature mapping
  • Stress and sleep levels
  • Over 100 different sports modes
  • Fall detection for extra safety

Pricing and Where to Get It

The Watch Lite is starting out in the UK and Europe. The price is set at 159 Pounds or 159 Euros. We are still waiting to hear about a release in the US or India, but for now, it’s a European exclusive.
It’s an interesting move from OnePlus. They are clearly trying to own the budget smartwatch space by offering flagship-level brightness and materials at a fraction of the cost. Are you tempted?
