Oppo Find X9s Will Be a Slim Smartphone With Huge Battery

Oppo finally took the wraps off its Oppo Find X9 and the X9 Pro. The new devices brought excellent cameras, a gorgeous new design, and huge batteries. However, we all know that these two devices aren't the ones coming under this lineup. The brand is expected to launch a compact variant dubbed Oppo Find X9s later on. Today, a new rumor comes from China, giving us some tidbits about the device.

For those unaware, Oppo launched the Oppo Find X8 series in October 2024. The company then unveiled the Oppo Find X8s in April this year as a compact variant. Similarly, the brand is expected to unveil the Oppo Find X9s to continue this lineup. According to the reports, the Oppo Find X9S will be a compact flagship with a sub-6.5-inch display. Since the X8s has a 6.32-inch screen, the X9s should bring a similar size.

The new leak suggests the Oppo Find X9s will have a massive 7,000mAh battery. This will be quite a jump from its predecessor's 5,700mAh cell. Of course, this is a benefit that comes from the use of Si-C batteries, since they store more energy than the old Li-On batteries.

The X8s came with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC, so if MediaTek comes with the Dimensity 9500+ in the next year, this will be a valid candidate for the Oppo Find X9s. Considering the launch schedule of the Oppo Find X8S, we expect the Oppo Find X9s to come out only in the next year. Therefore, there are stil several months ahead. Many leaks will pop out until then. The phone should retain the same design as the Oppo Find X9 family.

Interestingly, Oppo is also expected to launch a Ultra variant for the X9 series. One time that the company seems to be following the same pattern of the X8 series, we expect this Ultra variant to come alongside the X9s in the next year.

For now, we will keep our eyes in the Oppo Find X9 and X9 Pro that are set for a global launch on October 28th.
