Oppo's first
Android smartphone, the Leonardo DiCaprio endorsed Find X903 is a very smart all alloy
phone with slid out
keyboard is a fine phone, however with the official launch of the Xiaomi M1 this weekend (where 100,000's were sold) and Meizu's MX on the way, the
Oppo has fallen out of style.
To rectify this Oppo have a
new phone in the works known internally as the Find 2.
The rendering here of the next generation Oppo
Android phone show that the slide out
keyboard has been dumped in favour of a large, 4-inch touch
screen, and the overall thickness has been drastically reduced to only 9.3mm.
Although in the planning stages a rumored specification has also leaked, claming the
new Oppo Find 2 will feature a 1.5Ghz Dual-core snapdragon CPU, 4-inch
IPS screen,1 mega-pixel front
camera, a huge 10 mega-pixel rear
camera with LED flash 1GB RAM, 4GB of internal memory and an
Android 4.0 Ice-cream Sandwich operating system.
No news on the the launch date of price, but due the the 4-inch IPS screen and 10-megapixel camera, we imagine Oppo are looking to price the Find 2 closer to the Meizu MX's price range of 2999 Yuan ($473)
