DigitalOptics have announced that
Oppo will be the
first smartphone OEM to use the companies latest mems|cam technology.
Oppo showed that they are serious about
camera technology in
smartphones after launching devices such as the Ulike2,
R819 and the innovative
Oppo N1 with rotating 13 mega-pixel
camera.
The mems|cam modules from DigitalOptics will bring speed, power and precision advantages to Oppo’s future
Android smartphones when compared to traditional
VCM (voice coil motor)
camera modules found in current
smartphones.
Along with the mems|cam module Oppo will also be using DigitalOptics advanced algorithms for
image capture and feature HDR, panorama, multi-focus, and
