release date, well until today that is!
Local Chinese phone makers have been quick to see that the popularity of their low-cost high specification phones has spread from China, and now customers from all over the globe want to get their hands on a low-cost super phone!
Like many brands,
UMi have decided to take the plunge and will be offering the
quad-core UMi
X2 in
India from March 15. The purported
release date is followed by claims the
X2 will receive Android 4.2 Jelly Bean by April and will cost Rs. 14,000 ($259) which is only slightly more than the
retail price here in China!
