Ainol Launches Super Cheap $150 3G Ice-cream Sandwich Tablets

Ainol first shocked the world late last year with the launch of the Ainol Novo 7 which was a $99 Android tablet which also happened to be the first commercially available device running Ice-cream Sandwich! This week the company have surprised again by launching the Ainol Novo Elf 2 a $150 3G tablet!The Ainol Novo Elf II (2) follows the same tried and tested formula as the original Ainol Novo 7 Android tablet, meaning the screen is a responsive 1024 x 600 resolution 7 inch unit, which displays Android 4.0.3 ICS, which in turn is powered by 1GB RAM and a 1.5GHZ Amlogic CPU.

How the ELF 2 differs is in it's connectivity options which add 3G to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The Elf joins the Ainol Novo 7 Aurora which is a $170 3G tablet with IPS screen and the top of the range Ainol Novo 7 Flame which also gets an IPS screen but also a higher resolution for $199!
