I don't know what it is about
Acer's
smartphone's which fail to grab my attention and take my breath away, but whatever it is, the Liquid Z2 and
Liquid E1 phones are no different!
Both phones offer lower than average
specifications for the price, and I personally would rather
buy a
phone from the likes of JiaYu, UMi or Zopo than buying the big brand
Acer phones.
The
Liquid E1 is the costlier of the two phones with prices expected to be set between €199 to €229, but why anyone would pay so much for a dual-core 1Ghz, 5.4-inch
Acer when a
quad-core, 5-inch 1080HD UMi
X2 is only €119 is anyone's guess!
The cheaper Z2 the same dual-core processor but a tiny 3.5-inch display and will
cost slightly less (but still more than the UMi X2) at €99 to €129.
I do try to look at the bright side of every device I write about, so I'll give both of the
Acer phones brownie points for dual-sim stand-by,
DTS Sound and the fact they will officially go on sale across
Europe, but I still think a Chinese
phone is a better buy!
