This boom has attracted big names such as Nokia who have teamed together with China's Shanda Games to pack ebook reading software on new handsets and allow customers a huge library on Shandas' servers to buy and download.
It's not all good news, as with anything digital there is always going to be a grey market and digital content is very easy to copy and sell on for huge profits by the software pirateers. There is also the problem of tracking the content of books and who they are going to, which the General Administration of Press and Publication (GAPP) are now trying to tackle.
