The vivo X Fold6 is finally going global, three months after its original launch in China. vivo's latest foldable combines two 120Hz LTPO displays, a huge battery and a 200MP ZEISS camera system in a surprisingly slim body.
The global launch is confirmed, but vivo has not announced international pricing yet. In China, the X Fold6 starts at RMB 7,999, which is around $1,120 before taxes and local pricing differences.

Two 120Hz LTPO displays

The X Fold6 uses an 8.02-inch 2K+ LTPO AMOLED inner screen with a 2,504 x 2,312 resolution. The cover display measures 6.51 inches and offers 2,528 x 1,120 resolution.
Both panels support an adaptive 1-120Hz refresh rate and can reach up to 5,000 nits of local peak brightness.
This is one area where vivo clearly wants the X Fold6 to feel like a premium flagship, rather than just another foldable with a large screen.

200MP ZEISS camera

The rear camera setup is built around a 200MP main sensor with OIS and ZEISS T* coating. It is joined by a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto and a 50MP ultra-wide camera.
The phone also supports 4K 60fps Dolby Vision recording and up to 100x ZEISS HyperZoom.
For me, the camera system is one of the strongest parts of the X Fold6. A 200MP main sensor combined with a proper periscope camera gives vivo plenty of hardware to work with.

6,900mAh battery in a slim foldable

Inside is a 6,900mAh BlueVolt battery, with 80W wired and 40W wireless charging.
The battery uses fifth-generation silicon-anode technology and a third-generation semi-solid-state design. vivo also claims the X Fold6 can deliver up to 9.37 hours of multitasking in Origin Workbench testing.
The phone runs OriginOS 7 Fold based on Android 17 globally, with features such as Multi-Split Screen, AI Cross-App Drag, AI Meeting Assistant and AI File Manager.

Slim, but built for real use

The X Fold6 is just 4.4mm thick when unfolded in Prism Black and weighs 228 grams. It also carries IP58, IP59, IPX8 and IPX9 protection, depending on the market specification.
That combination is what makes the X Fold6 interesting to me. vivo is not relying on one big feature. It is trying to make the whole foldable experience better, from the screens and cameras to battery life and multitasking.
Now the big question is simple: how much will the X Fold6 cost in Europe? vivo says pricing and availability will be announced separately for each market.
