Xiaomi Watch 5 smartwatch with 18 days battery life launched globally

Xiaomi has launched the Watch 5 smartwatch globally.
The new product runs on Google Wear OS and features both smart and power-saving
modes and it comes with a suggested retail price of €299.99 which is about
$355.
According to reports, this watch offers two strap
options: black and juniper green. Under the hood, this device comes with a Snapdragon
W5 Gen 1 + BES2800 dual-chip architecture . It also supports 2GB of RAM and 32GB
of storage.
Battery life
To keep its lights on, the Watch 5 features a decent 930mAh battery
containing 10% silicon-carbon anode material. In smart mode, it offers up to 6
days of battery life, while in power-saving mode, it offers up to 18 days of
battery life.
In terms of functionality, this watch features 4
LEDs + 4 PD detection technology, supports all-day heart rate, blood oxygen
saturation, and stress monitoring, and also has functions such as sleep
management and women's health monitoring. It has 150 sports modes, providing a
wealth of options for different exercisers, and can download offline maps for
convenient outdoor exploration.
In addition, this watch runs on Google Wear OS
and supports Google Maps, Calendar, Play Store, Wallet and other ecosystem
applications. It can also activate the Gemini AI assistant directly on the
wrist, is compatible with Google Pay contactless payment, and has gesture
recognition function. The specific applications are the same as the domestic
version.
It's worth noting that this watch can also
connect with Xiaomi phones, supporting features such as remote shutter and
Surge Connect, but there is currently no eSIM version.
