T-Rex’s Bigger Badder Cousin Discovered in China


The lovely looking chap up there with the sweet smile and gargantuan meat shredding teeth is known locally as the Zhuchengtyannus magnus, but we like to call him Super T-Rex!

The massive remains of this newly discovered meat eating dinosaur were found in China, Zhucheng (hence the name) and is thought to he a relative of the smaller more famous T-Rex.

When alive and stalking the forests of China, the Zhuchengtyannus magnus would have been roughly the same size and weight as a double decker bus!! and is currently the largest carnivore known to scientists!
