Xiaomi has brought the Smart Band 11 to Europe, with prices starting at €59.99 ($70). The new fitness tracker keeps the slim design of its predecessor but adds a brighter screen and an option with NFC.
For now, the band is listed on Xiaomi’s Spanish online store. Buyers can choose the standard model for €59.99 (about $70) or the NFC version for €79.99 (about $93). Both come in Midnight Black, Glacier Silver and Mystic Rose. A white ceramic model is also listed, but its price and release date remain unknown.

A brighter screen in a slimmer body

The Smart Band 11 has a 1.72-inch AMOLED screen, just like the Smart Band 10. The main upgrade is brightness, which now reaches a peak of 2,000 nits. This should make the screen easier to read outdoors, even in bright sunlight.
The band is also slim and light. It measures just 9.99mm thick and weighs 15.58 grams without the strap. The familiar pill-shaped design stays, so existing Xiaomi Band users should feel right at home.

NFC arrives with the new model

The NFC version is the biggest change for European buyers. It opens the door to contactless payments from the wrist, although support may depend on the payment service and your bank.
The Smart Band 11 also runs HyperOS 4 and supports both Android and iOS phones. It tracks heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep and daily activity, with more than 150 sports modes available. The band is rated for 5ATM water resistance, so it can also be used for swimming.

Battery life lasts up to 21 days

Xiaomi says the Smart Band 11 can last up to 21 days on a single charge. That figure depends on how you use it, so heavy tracking and always-on display use may reduce battery life.
The new model looks like a solid update for anyone who wants a simple fitness tracker without spending much. The NFC version is more useful for daily life, but its value will depend on which payment services work in your country.
