Hisense Sero 7 Lite and Pro Tegra 3 tablets at Nexus 7 beating prices


Hisense are expanding their range of Android phones, STB (set top boxes) and smart TV’s with a couple of great new tablets, the Hisense Sero 7 Lite and Pro with Nexus 7 level hardware!

Hisense have quite a strong line up of Android tablets and smart TV’s here in China, however they are hoping to grab a larger share of the international market with the new Sero 7 range.

Starting at just $99 the Hisense Sero 7 packs a 7-inch display, Android 4.2 and even a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor. The Sero 7 Pro which will go on sale for slightly more at $149 will get a 1.3Ghz Tegra 3 chip, 7-inch 1280 x 800 IPS display, Mirco SD card slot, mini HDMI, a couple of cameras and even GPS and NFC!

Both Hisense Sero 7 tablets will go on sale in the U.S later this year!

    Well, at least with Nexus devices you will receive Android updates – with unsupported Chinese cheap assed devices – highly unlikely.

  2. This isn’t that cheaper than Nexus 7, I’m not sure if the 149$ one is worth it, using the same SoC. The only things it lacks are the connectivity ports and dual cameras.

    The 99$ one may be, but the article doesn’t state the true differences between the two of them.

    Can this be further clarified?
