Coolpad are one of the largest phone manufactures in China and they are now entering the virgin smartwatch market with the CoolWatch.

Smartwaches are still a little far away from becoming the mainstream, but these wearable devices are picking up traction and companies from Sony, LG and even Apple are taking a serious look in to the market.

With very little in the way of competition, and with the watches running Android OS it seems like the perfect market for Chinese companies to get involved with too, and they are!

Coolpad have announced that they will launch the Coolwatch, which will be sold as part of a bundle with the Coolpad Grand 4 5.9-inch. The watch will sync with the phone to show notifications and messages and can be used on its own to monitoring exercise and sleep patterns.
