Huawei Ascend Mate 2 breaches the 20k mark on AnTuTu

We might get to see the second installment of the Huawei’s Ascend Mate sooner than expected, with the device making an appearance at the AnTuTu Benchmark database!

The Ascend Mate did considerably well in most markets, offering high value for money and a large display. The phone provides exactly what everyone had been looking for – a big screen (6.1 inches) and an even bigger battery (4050mAh), which made the perfect phablet for some. Featuring Huawei’s own K3V2 quad-core processor along with 2GB of RAM, the device was no mug on the processing front as well.

Gizchina News of the week

Coming back to the Huawei MT2-C00, which is the model name for the next in the series, the phone was spotted at the AnTuTu Benchmark database where it scored 22,345 points. The Ascend Mate 2 is expected to come with another chipset from Huawei’s own brewery, probably an updated K3V2 or maybe a whole new one along with 2GB RAM. Just like the Ascend Mate, we expect the Ascend Mate 2 to be an affordable big screen device, striking a balance between price and processing strength.

Should have had this score when it first came out for the price it was offered at ;-(

If they make this around 300 USD for everyone then its a decent option. Else who wants it.

Really hoping for a removable battery this time (non-removable = non acceptable, according to me) — to much to hope for?
