iOcean to launch “the best” $130 Android smartphone!

iOcean have posted a interesting little teaser on their Weibo account suggesting the brand is on the verge of launching “the best” $130 smartphone!

Xiaomi’s Hongmi phone started the 799 Yuan ($130) trend for phones with high specification hardware and great user experience. The Hongmi has dominated the market since it launched, but rival are finally catching up and we have already seen Huawei’s success with the Huawei Honor 3C.

Gizchina News of the week

Huawei aren’t the only ones though as iOcean are also planning to launch their own Hongmi killer. iOcean rose to fame in 2013 for the X7 smartphone which quad-core MT6589T processor and 1080 display. The new 799 phone isn’t likely to have such high-level hardware, but we imagine a good size 720p display, quad-core MT6582 processor and above average front and rear cameras are on the cards.

We will keep following news of iOceans new phone and keep you updated!

Anyone ever noted how these chinese brands like to advertise their new phone prices first even before the phone name or at least little specifications?

you don’t see Apple saying..Hey we are launching a new 900 dollar smart(i)Phone next week Stay tuned…or Samsung flaunting about their 250 dollar smartphones that they haven’t even named yet?

Am just saying that it could be better if they said “a new low cost iOcean x9i(totally random)” after all with Great specifications comes Great performance and a ton of money…

+1 Hehehe… totally true, guess is their best selling argument, so you catch users attention by saying that… otherwise nobody would even notice them
