The Amoi A955T is just what the doctor ordered to spice up the entry-level smartphone market, it has the right price, specs and even a good looking design!
Amoi, a large Chinese phone brand in their own country but not that well known elsewhere, now have the potential to really begin to shake the entry-level phone market up. Usually we think of Huawei, Xiaomi and the smaller Chinese phone makers when we look at devices costing less than 1000 Yuan, but with some stunning hardware the Amoi A955T looks killer.

The 7.8mm think phone has a 5.5-inch full HD 1920 x 1080 panel up front, with a 1.5ghz Hexacore MT6591 chipset and 2GB RAM handling the processing side. Amoi havenāt given LTE to the A955T but instead used the money to ensure the phone has a decent OGS screen, OTG support, 2500mAh battery and 8 mega-pixel main camera.
To us the design, price and hardware are all spot on, but unfortunately we donāt recommend you buy it if you live outside of China as this smartphone will only pick up China Mobileās 3G networks. Still it is a phone to keep an eye on should the WCDMA model get a release.
