Chuwi HiBook will feature USB 3.0 Type-C port

Chuwi HiBook

Newest premium build slate from Chuwi is no stranger on our website and recently the announced specs of Chuwi HiBook received a positive bump in form of confirmation, that the USB Type-C port will be indeed the faster USB 3.0 variant.

The available connectivity will be then pretty impressive, because along the aforementioned port it has usual micro-USB port (likely used for charging too), microHDMI and on the optional separately sold keyboard are two full fledged USB 2.0 ports.

The magnetic keyboard dock itself deserves closer look, because it seems very similar or in fact identical to the Cube iWork10 Ultimate one, which is not necessarily a bad thing. In my eyes its more or less mandatory accessory for the tablet, because without it the comfortably usage would be seriously hindered. The only downside of the quality build keyboard dock is the price hovering currently about 65$.

Chuwi HiBook has one more ace in its sleeve in form of dualboot option with Windows 10/Android 5.1 preinstalled so the versatility value is certainly there.

The tablet is currently still in presale period and first deliveries are expected roughly around middle of April so if you are on a lookout for a decently powerful slate with premium build, good connectivity and reasonable official price around 239$ then this one should one of the running candidates.
