ZUK ZUI 2.0 will offer overclock feature

zuk zui 2.0

If you are the owner of either the ZUK Z2 Pro or the Z2, then the update to ZUI 2.0 is set to bring some decent speed performance updates.

Not that the ZUK Z2 Pro or its baby brother the Z2 are slow by any means, but the upcoming switch to ZUI 2.0 will allow you to further boost performance at whim.

One of the new features of ZUI 2.0 will be a simple 1 click overclock feature which will give the flagship phone a speed boost when needed. Through the latest promotional details it looks as though ZUI 2.0 will let the user set the speed of the Snapdragon 820 processor from 1.8Ghz, 2.15Ghz or 2.3Ghz.

Setting the phone at a lower CPU speed should also help boost battery life, and we doubt it will affect performance too much.

zuk zui 2.0

It’s not clear what other features ZUI 2.0 will have, but I am hoping for more control in the camera app.

Do you have a ZUK phone? What would you like to see from ZUI 2.0?

Using ZUK Z2 Pro and a bit disappointed with its actual overall performance and speed. I have 128gb/6gb ram version and I’m sure, it need to do better in antutu (I have 122000 with all the apps I use).
Also I love built in health app! Really nice!
    Boosting will be awesome feature!
First thing I need from ZUI 2.0 – Multilanguage!!!

Oneplus 3 got nearly 150k with no performance profile,
maybe ZUK must do more serious in improving their ROM
      or stick to Cyanogen lol

Yeah, I think this is because bad system optimization…
Did not chose 1+3 because it has 5.5 screen (big for me), 64 GB ROM (small for me)…

    ZUI 1.9.077: 137K in Antutu
    ZUI 2.0.069: 130K in Antutu
    Overclocked to 2.3GHz: also 130K.

it’s unbearably inconsistent, with 1.9.077 I was getting 146K in Antutu with around 5900 in geekbench, but then I switched to 2.0.057 since that initial build had no default apps, no Uhealth or any of that, it started scoring 135K in antutu and 5200 in geekbench, after putting 2.1.120 onto it, it scored 122K and 3200 in geekbench.. it felt sluggish occasionally so I flashed 1.9.104 onto it with the default apps and it scored 140K, geekbench was around 5600 which was better and it was snappy, I did a direct update to 2.1.120 again and now it scores 134K and 3600 in geekbench.. these were directly after flashes, it’s so annoyingly inconsistent, and I remember on 1.9.077 it was clocking to 2.3ghz, now it stays at 2.15 and the overclock feature is nowhere to be found… I’m thinking maybe I should roll back to 1.9.077 just since it remained consistent.

I’d like to see a screen mirroring option.Or am I just blind not to have found it?
