Huawei releases a 10000 mAh power bank with 18W two-way fast charge


Smartphone manufacturers also make all sorts of accessories to ensure that they have a complete product line. Huawei is one of the leading smartphone manufacturers in the world and the company is currently targetting the number one spot which is currently occupied by South Korean manufacturer, Samsung. Huawei’s smartphones are fairly good devices and so are its accessories. Recently, the company released a Huawei 10000 mAh mobile power bank which provides additional power for smartphones.

This 10000 mAh power bank comes in two versions, Micro-USB and USB-C version. At present, the Micro-USB version is on pre-sale and it comes with a 99 Yuan ($15) price tag. This product uses an all-white appearance with rounded edges and a comfortable grip. It provides a USB-A output interface and a Micro-USB input interface. Both interfaces support 18W fast charge, as well as Huawei’s FCP fast charging protocol. According to the company, the built-in lithium polymer battery can charge the Huawei Mate20 Pro up to 36% in 30 minutes.

This device supports intelligent identification of charging devices. This means that when it’s used for smaller devices like smart bands or smartwatches, it automatically steps own the output. In terms of safety, Huawei’s 10000mAh mobile power supply supports 12-fold safety protection, such as cell temperature protection, cell overcharge, over-discharge protection, double short-circuit protection, input overvoltage/undervoltage protection, and input overcurrent protection.
