The prospect of the
Android Market moving in to the e-book game, or even the
music or movie
market, was reported last week after we the discovery of three active sub-categories found on the
Android webstore.
Now, those once dorment URL's are slowly waking up and the
first to do so is the book
market!
According to
Tech-Crunch the
new book subscription service for
Android is now active, but will only work for those accessing the Android
market with an Android
3.0 tablet, or via the web version of the store.
It is thought the
Android Book Store will eventually make its way to devices running Android 2.2-2.3 in the future.
Available books are sorted in categories for both paid and free books as well as recently added, but you are also able to search the store through the search function.
Now, books are
available how long will it be before
music and
movies also come to the
Android store?
