Spy photos: UMi X2 turns up with X1

Tracking down real images of the UMi X2 has proven extremely difficult, but as persistent as we are we have finally managed to get a photo showing the new phone in all it’s 5-inch 1080 glory!

Gizchina News of the week

According to UMi, the X2 is destined for release later this month for the asking price of 1499 Yuan ($240). The spy photo of the X2 isn’t all that surprising and looks similar to the renderings and photoshopped imaged we have posted in the past, but it’s nice to finally see the front of the phone.

For full specifications of the UMi X2 and also a handy comparison with the JiaYu G4 take a look at this post. We’ll be in touch with our contacts at UMi to try and secure a review unit asap!

Andi please remove that ugly image from there, this MOCKUP is very old maybe it’s 4-6 months old, I thought that you will upload a photo which is a real photo with the real UMI X2 GUI !! :/

The date on the UMI X2 is Oct 2nd, so likely fake. Also the side bezel looks thicker (the same as current Galaxy S3 copies.
