Purported Xiaomi Mi3 screen leaked, hints at angular design

A leaked photo of the purported Xiaomi Mi3 screen has been leaked hinting at a new angular design!

Mifans across China and the world are waiting with bated breath for the (rumoured) August launch of the next generation Xiaomi phone. All we have had to go on for now are numerous leaked photos of various designs, rumoured specifications and now the above photo of a possible Mi3 display.

Gizchina News of the week

We can clearly see the Xioami β€œMi” logo printed in the top left hand corner of what appears to be a larger 5-inch screen. The screen also has narrower bezels than we have seen on current Xiaomi phones and gives us the impression of a much more angular design for the Xiaomi Mi3.

Other notable features are the lack of navigation icons on the chin which could mean the Xiaomi Mi3 will have back-lit controls, along with a new speaker placement in the front panel rather than above it.

From previous reports the Xiaomi Mi3 should ship with a faster quad-core processor, at least 2GB RAM, 13 mega-pixel camera, 3500mAh battery, and a 5-inch 1080 FHD display.

I would love to carry LTE.
    Snapdragon 800 model number 8974
Does anyone know when will be released commercially?
The Xiaomi reference model should not be left behind.

” hinting at a new angular design”
I am not so sure about that, since the shown screen is still part of a large production glass pane, containing many of those.
The individual screen still needs to cut out of the pane and ground and polished into final shape.
    Just saying …

online resellers’s price of mi2s 32gb version could reach $450 !!! so it is very likely that they will sell mi3 for $500++ !!! for me buying online is not an option, with that amount of money i could get 15,6″, 4gb ddr3 ram, 500++gb rom, core i5 ivy bridge, win8 laptop with 1 year warranty !

i just hope a friend could help me buy one for not far from $400……
