The Zopo ZP820 packs a 5-inch display, 1.3Ghz MT6582 quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB memory, 8 mega-pixel rear camera dnd Android 4.2 OS. Just a shame that their shipping charges are so high – the website says it would be dispatched from their European warehouse via DHL which incurs a fixed cost of $32.90 (at the point in the order process that this charge is shown it says the product will be dispatched from China?!). This seems much higher than some other companies charge and adds a significant proportion to the cost, especially for low-cost phones.

I think Jiayu G3T is the best in that price range.

Has anyone bought from the site? I was thinking about buying a THL W11, whats the best phone for ~$300 ?

    • October 22, 2013

xiaomi mi2A, thl w11, tcl idol x, neo n003 ultimate, jiayu g4 advanced (the one with 1.5ghz quadcore mediatek – cause maybe you’ll find this phone with 1.2ghz too), huawei g700, zopo c2, zopo c3, iocean X7 elite

      all good phones

if you have a little bit more you can go with Xiaomi mi2s or Nubia Z5 mini, also excellent phones.

personally i would go with jiayu g4 advanced, but its because i don’t like 5 inch phones as i think its too big, but if you don’t have problems with that, all are good phones. Try find 2gb/32gb versions of each one (not all phones that i’ve posted has it!) and you will be good.

Zopo is not offering any international support. I bought a Zopo Zp980 from China. Now micro sim in this is not working, i tried to get it solved here at Zopo India but they think i am an alien as i bought it from China. Zopo China is even not helpful on this.

        I even contacted zopo India.

Don’t contact Zopo India, head over to the official site http://www.zopomobile.cn there you can find an English site with all the spares listed

Well i even contacted Zopo China here https://www.facebook.com/officialzopo
They said i can get my issue fixed by Zopo India. I said they won’t believe so Zopo China said to show Zopo India official conversation on facebook. Now i again contacted Zopo india with reference of my conversation with Zopo China. But then they are saying that they need a official mail from Zopo China to help me. Since then i am continuously writing to Zopo China even they are not replying. Now Zopo is really making me repent on my decision to go with Zopo. It’s a IMEI issue i guess. Because it has only one IMEI so micro sim is not working. Here’s a short video what error i get when i insert a sim https://www.dropbox.com/s/ifoew8n2uvxmdms/Zopo980.mp4
Please tell me what to do now. Zopo is really making me stressed and making me repent over my purchase.

If it is an IMEI issue, you can try and Google methods which can help you change your phone’s IMEI. However, I’m not sure if it is a legal practice.
