Purported first hands on with an 8-core MT6592 Mediatek demo phone

Our sources have told us that the video in this post is one of a Mediatek demo device running an 8-core MT6592 processor.

Mediatek will officially launch the 8-core MT6592 later this month however it is quite common for chip manufacturer to produce one off demo device running their latest hardware to show customers what is on offer.

The video below is rumoured to be of one such device running a MT6592 8-core chip. The video neither confirms nor denies the rumours, but does show us a smart looking hanset capable of handling some advanced graphics.
