Vivo Xplay 3S retail packaging leaked, looks amazing!

If there’s one thing international manufacturers can learn from Chinese makers, it’s got to be retail packaging. Retail packaging of every Chinese device I’ve ever owned has impressed to a great extent!

Gizchina News of the week

Looking at this picture of Vivo Xplay 3S’s packaging will remind you of a typical directors slate. What’s more, it even opens like one! All this really would make the Xplay 3S an object of desire. That is, if the 2K screen, 3GB RAM, Snapdragon 800 processor, 4G LTE, a HiFi audio decoder, and an F/1.8 camera weren’t enough already!

Do you agree that Chinese devices come in the best packaging? Which one’s your favourite? Let us know!

so another question: might it have dual sim?

        • November 29, 2013

Likely, since Lenovo’s Vibe Z which has the same processor is a dual SIM! I hope it does, actually. Makes the phone much more usable!

meanwhile, single-sim is a knockout criteria for a phone (for me). I
have no idea why all the big names in the west sell their phones with
single sim. While the asian brands sell them with dual-sim support.
Finally HTC got the move and start to sell their flagship in germany
with dual-sim. The Moto G for example, is sold only with single-sim. However in Brazil there will be a dual-sim version!

The Vibe Z has a different processor, the one in Xplay 3s will be the AB version.

An f/1.8 lens lets in twice as much light as an f/2 lens so, although it might not sound much better when you compare the numbers, the low-light performance should be very significantly better. Depth of focus will be less, but this is a welcome advance.
