CoolPad launches worlds cheapest octacore, Coolpad Great God F1 for just $146!

Earlier today Coolpad announced the launch of their latest Android smartphone the 5-inch CoolPad Great God F1 with octacore processor for just $146!

CoolPad have just launched the worlds most affordable octacore Android smartphone! The CoolPad Great God F1! Running a 1.7Ghz MT5692 processor, 2GB RAM and a 5-inch 720 display the CoolPad Great God F1 is a bargain at only 888 yuan ($146) here on the Chinese Mainland.

The phone also packs a front 5 mega-pixel camera, 13 mega-pixel rear camera, dual-sim support and 2500mAh battery! All good stuff!

At the launch CoolPad compared the Great God F1 to the Xiaomi Mi3 and Huawei Honor 3X (also an octacore phone), and at less than half the price of the Xiaomi flagship phone the F1 is an amazing bargain!

But, and this is a big BUT, the F1 has only been announced as a TD-SCDMA + GSM model, meaning 3G won’t work outside of China! Hopefully a WCDMA model will launch soon.
